Household reclamation / road to an office
Road to a Home, Day 9

Finished off my desk today. The large cardboard box contains 5.25" floppies that I don't want to toss until I find a drive in which to check them, so they stay. Same with the ZIP disks.

The software notebook is now on top of the hutch with the rest of the software, and the file folders have moved out of the pigeonhole and onto a shelf until I can make space in the file cabinet for them.

I see you added some decorations as well.

Is the thing with the little keyboard a label maker? if so, what kind and are you happy with it?

The labeler is a Brother PT-1880 and I like it a lot. It uses a split-back tape, which means I don't spend time slicing a notch into the backing so I can peel it apart.

I'd just toss the 5.25" floppies. Any data saved to those floppies is so old that I can't imagine it would be of any value at all. If it *had* value, you would have switched it over to a newer format before now. Sometimes, you just have to toss, instead of letting perfectionism drive procrastination.
