Discomfort continues, but I went four hours between 1/2 Lorcets, even if I was napping for part of it. Things seem to hurt less if I keep my mouth moist.
Warm salt-water rinses feel very good.
We went to Shoney's for lunch, my first solid food since Sunday. Very slushy solid food, but still. I had stuffing with a lot of gravy and some shredded turkey mixed in; mashed potatoes with a lot of gravy and some meatloaf crumbled in; a little bit of candied yams and a little cranberry sauce; and most of a slice of pumpkin pie.
All eaten in tiny bites and water sloshed around my mouth between bites.
The teeth that were worked on are quite sensitive to cold; this is, unfortunately, normal, and could last several months.
Speech is still kind of mushy, but apparently understandable to strangers.
Overall, continuing to improve.
