Apparently, when I stayed at a Westin hotel recently, I was signed up for their preferred member program.

I just got an email advertising their branded AmEx card. Here are some of the details:
  • 10,000 bonus Starpoints after your first purchase
  • 15,000 additional bonus Starpoints when you spend $15,000 in the first 6 months
  • Earn at least 4 Starpoints per eligible dollar spent at participating hotels and resorts
  • Earn 1 Starpoint per eligible dollar spent everywhere else
