It's hot.
My friends in Phoenix can point and laugh now, but I've been living here for 20 years and have acclimated to lower temperatures.

It's 8:30 a.m. and 78°F. Humidity is 83%. Heat index today is supposed to top out somewhere between 105°F and 110°F (between 40.5°C and 43°C).

Wanna bet?
The humidity been running in the mid 60's to low 70's for the past couple of weeks. Add that to temps in the 100 to 110 range and you get real bleah.
It's no longer a dry heat people. Phoenix in turning into Mumbai.

It should have read,"Phoenix is turning into Mumbai."
I split a fingernail and it's making typing ... special.

Dallas in August, truly bleah.

No, that sounds pretty nasty. Oddly enough, it's been cooler here (with higher humidity) the last several days; it's supposed to get hot again today, though. (We had a day or two with high 80's/low 90's and upwards of 90% humidity, with dewpoints over 75.)
