Improvement  
Sprained wrist is improving. Much more up and down movement; still almost no side-to-side without pain. Can mouse for about 30 minutes, or type for 10, without excessive pain. Lot of bruising around the base of the thumb; feels like there will be some around the wrist itself eventually.

Still not up to cutting steak; Dale cut mine for me at dinner tonight (we went to his folks' house since his brother and family are visiting).

Shoulder aches a lot; not sure how much is from the fall and how much is from the tetanus shot.

Knee still moderately painful, but it feels like it's from the scrape / scab, rather than underlying structure most of the time. I'm sure there's a "bone bruise" in there, though.

Still taking Advil regularly and hydrocodone to sleep.

It sounds as if you're currently in the land of it-will-be-like-this-forever-now: I hope that you're in your accustomed vigour and painlessless fast, though without the customary forgetfulness that this is good fortune.

Well, I'm recording the day-to-day improvements so that I *don't* get to thinking that it will be like this forever.

Thank you kindly for the good recuperative wishes. And I agree, thank God and the application of science for good pain meds.

Osteo pain is near the top of the list, but it sounds like your managing it. Consider adding naprosyn -- it's my favorite for joint pain.

Rather than asking Dale to cut the steak, you could have sliped it between 2 pices of garlic bread and had a sandwitch.
