Sprained wrist hurts like hell, so thank ghu for Advil (for day) and Vicodin (for night, being left over from the car accident, which required only two before not needing them, and the doc-in-the-box said it was fine if I wanted to take them for my wrist).

Badly scraped knee also hurts, but not as much.

Enterprise RAC made it right; the branch manager closed out the open rental and manually adjusted the charge to be only the two days I actually had the car. Apparently despite numerous conversations with her and several with other people, there were no notes appended to the database, no one had entered the accident report number, they hadn't started their own internal accident report, nothing.

So now I'm not sure if they're on the naughty list (for the massive fail) or the nice list (for fixing it once I showed up in person).

Okay, done typing now.

Well, the first couple of days weren't their fault -- you can't get the accident report until 48 hours after the officer goes off-shift, so it's not unreasonable that they didn't know where it was on Thursday or Friday.

Had I still been on-scene when the wrecker arrived, I could have given them the name, but I wasn't, and that wasn't my responsibility at that point; going to the ER to make sure I wasn't broken was my responsibility.
