I have decided  
That I am going to try something new. When someone irritates me, instead of getting cranky about it, I will simply mutter to myself, "Well, it's a very good disguise."

I have discovered that attitude helps in coping with some particularly irritating folk. And playing a couple of hours of Fable II killing bandits and Hobbes.

That is a nice way to look at it.

If you ever *need* snark, though, I've gotten good mileage out of "Hm. Obviously under the influence of a feeblemind spell".

(You have to say it in a serious voice to get it just right.)

The whole thing reminds me of the "the leper then turned into Jesus" story, St. Francis I think. It has helped me handle some unpleasant strangers of different sorts, or any sizable crowd, too.
