Well, drat
*resets "today I am a crone" clock to May 2010*

And I was only three weeks away, dammit.

Edited to add: Ah, well, it could be worse. I seem to be having a totally asymptomatic perimenopause, which is convenient.

Eh, well. Could be worse. I'm just annoyed, not miserable.

Precisely! But it could be worse.

I know! You'd think, having gone this long, another three weeks would have been easy, wouldn't you? Ah, well. Could be worse.

tradition is that one paints one's toenails gold when one finally reaches "crone" status.

One becomes an official crone at true menopause (ie: one full year after your last, um, shark week).

Gee, guess that means I became an immediate crone right after my hysterectomy, then. Never thought about it that way.

My last period was the beginning of June, 2008. I was within three weeks of declaring that I'd finished menopause when my period started yesterday.

I'm mildly grumpy about it. However, I shouldn't complain, in that I'm having an entirely asymptomatic perimenopause.

Hum... I suppose I should be getting a "clock" like that right about now. I think I can sneak it in with the annoying tests that I panic and get every so often.
