Person A: It's a good thing I don't like pickles.

Person B: Why is that?

Person A: Because if I liked pickles, I'd have to eat them, and I hate pickles!

I read something like this years ago in a book about linguistics. The section in question was about how words get so wrapped up in their meaning, we start to think of them *as* their meaning.

"Pigs are rightly named. I mean, just look at 'em!"
