about an equal volume of milk
a goodly amount of cayenne
a tablespoon or so of caraway seeds
a pack of Ore-Ida hasbrowns with peppers and onions
half a pack of shredded Mexican blend cheese
Beat the eggs, milk, and seasonings together. Mix in potatoes. Mix in cheese. Dump into pan, refrigerate overnight, bake covered at 350 for an hour, then leave uncovered in hot (but turned off) oven another 20 minutes or so.
