Google homepage!
Go today (June 9) and check out Google's homepage, http://www.google.com/ , with your sound on.

Hat tip to fatfred and my co-worker Cyndy WINOLJ for the link.

I am SO tempted to spend my whole day playing with that. Thank you for the heads-up!

It works on Valkyrie's Win7 machine but doesn't on my xubuntu laptop nor Alaric's gentoo desktop.

Alaric says he thinks you've got to be on Windows and allow scripts (javascripts). It is likely that it will work on Mac OS too but I'm not going upstairs to plug in the G4 to find out. That's way too bloody hot for today.

Alas, if you have the Firefox plugin HTTPS Everywhere, you *can't* access the non secure version of Google, so you can't see the fancy stuff they sometimes put up.

ForTUNEately, I also have the IE View plugin, so I just clicked "view link in IE).

Cute.
